30 JUL 2017.

Bandanas have been my accessory of choice for about a year now… (see here, here, and here) which makes me even more excited that they are all over street style goddesses right now… literally. From their ankles, bags, and belt loops to wrists, necks, and ponytails, there’s no place this trendy accessory won’t go. I suggest shopping at Madewell and Urban Outfitters for the best selection.

18 JUL 2017: Waypoint.

It is without hesitation that I recommend Waypoint, a “coastally inspired” seafood restaurant, to anyone looking for an upscale culinary experience with relaxed atmosphere in Boston. Check out all of the delectable things we ate below and read about what Chef Mike Seely and Manager Matt Gisler recommend from the menu over at trelle.

Anyone else obsessing over the styling of button down tops these days? Effortless and casual, this look is perfect for the beach, brunch, or a night out. Between styling hacks like this and the versatile use of bandanas (more to come on that one), I love how it’s possible to rework pieces already in my closet to feel new and fresh.

Keeping it Casual.

Recently I’ve been super motivated to clean out the old, worn and unused items in my closet to make room (and money) for things that I actually love and wear. One part of my closet that’s taken a hit is the ‘comfy clothes’ pile: IE sweatshirts, sweatpants and t-shirts. I figured it’s worth the $$$ to invest in polished sweats that I can actually wear outside the confines of the apartment. Let’s be honest, there’s certainly no need to hold on to a high school t-shirt that’s riddled with shameful ice cream stains…

So, where’s the first place I thought to look? Madewell of course. It’s the perfect place for high quality basics with an All-American vibe that never go out of style. Let’s just hope my tendency to spill is gone for good, just like those stained clothes are.

New on the Block: Frenchie.

In an attempt to expand on the ‘eat’ part of my Eat Sleep Dress & Repeat mantra, I’ve decided to write more about one of my favorite topics: food (and the best places to get it). I couldn’t think of a more fitting way to start than with one of the most highly-anticipated new restaurants in Boston, Frenchie. As if the name wasn’t enough to get you in the door, maybe the selection of French tapas or elegant decor (complete with trendy floral wallpaper) will.

Located right on Tremont Street, this intimate space is perfect for date night or a ladies’ get together. That being said, make sure to snag a reservation because space is limited and it fills up fast! What else should you expect? Insanely good French fare and some flavorful dishes. This time around we tried the brussels sprouts, French fries (of course), tuna crudo, escargot, salted cod croquette, and crème brûlée; A++ to all! The best part about a tapas menu is that you have the opportunity to try… six dishes that still go fairly easy on your stomach and wallet.

So next time you’re looking to indulge in the Boston restaurant scene, know that Frenchie comes highly recommended! If you visit, let me know what you think and enjoy!

Winter Layers.

Well, February is here and it has come with its fair share (read: feet) of snow and freezing temps. I’m blaming it for my blogging hiatus. There’s little motivation to get up and dressed and more incentive to cuddle on the couch and binge watch Shameless. Anyway…

When it is time to get out of the house, winter dressing is all about layers and piling them on in any creative way you’d like. I chose to start with fishnets (the accessory of the season) + a culotte jumpsuit + some hefty booties + a bandana. Add a duster jacket from one of my favorite brands Vetta Capsule, and a leather one, and my look was complete. #TwoCoatsAreBetterThanOne
